Hail a Hero!

Preventing Holiday Light Horror

The Case for Professional Holiday Lights Installation

If you’ve been a client of ours for a while, you know my style isn’t to twist arms or beg.

And as a follower of my blog, you also know that my videos and articles are often geared toward encouraging and equipping you to perform home repair projects yourself.

I’m making an exception today.

I am begging you…

Please, please, please… if you’re thinking of hanging your holiday lights yourself this week, and it requires ladder work, CONSIDER A PROFESSIONAL!

I’m not playing any “marketing games” here.

I’m dead serious. (Literally)

About 10 years ago, I lost my uncle Paul to a fall from a ladder while attempting to repair his own home.

Last year, a good friend of mine who owns and operates another holiday light hanging company fell off a ladder, broke both his legs and spent the holidays in a wheel chair.

This morning, I received a call from a young woman whose husband fell off a ladder this weekend attempting to hang holiday lights.

And this afternoon, I just found out that a good friend of mine who also runs a home repair business fell off his roof and broke his back.

Please, even if you don’t care about your own health and safety, please think of the family members who may be impacted by a fall off of a roof or ladder.

Stay on the ground where it is safe–either skip hanging the high lights or call one of our craftsman to hang them for you.  The cost of our holiday light hanging service is usually less than a trip to the emergency room.
