Box Gutter Repair Customer Testimonial in Cincinnati
Here at ProMaster, we have a new box gutter repair system that works better than traditional repairs and also saves you money. We call it the Box Gutter Shield. The Box Gutter Shield system is between 1/3 and 1/2 the cost of a traditional box gutter repair lining or replacing the gutters in metal. It doesn’t take a genius to realize the whole reason you’re repairing these box gutters in the first place is because the metal failed, and we’ll make a bet that they failed at the seams. Our system doesn’t have seams. How? We use PVC, a thermoplastic material that heat welds together. For you, that translates into a more permanent, seamless repair that a traditional repair at 1/3 to 1/2 the cost.
Box Gutter Repair with ProMaster Shield Video
Watch this video interview of one of our latest customers. As you’ll be able to tell, John has experienced many of the problems typical homeowners with these box gutters have. He points out that these box gutter repair companies are repairing these box gutters in the same way they’ve been built over 100 years ago. There has to be a better way. Here at ProMaster, there is.

The PVC we use hasn’t been heard of by most people, but it’s actually very common in the commercial roofing industry. Most commercial roofs, like the skyscrapers in downtown Cincinnati, have either PVC or TPO on them. Both are strong, thermoplastic membranes that many manufacturers warranty for twenty or thirty years. TPO is a little less expensive, but PVC is the Rolls Royce of roofing membranes. That’s why we choose to work with PVC. Although you may have never heard of it before, you can be sure that it’s been field tested for several years, and be at ease because it’s the commercial roofing industry’s choice product.
PVC has a huge advantage over metal when it comes to lining these old box gutters because, simply put, plastic can’t rust. PVC is also a better product because the seams won’t break after several years. PVC is heat welded together at the seams, which melts it together and eliminates the possibility for those seams to break.

I have 4 box gutters on my home that need some attention to them. They don’t leak, but the “fall” is not correct because in a normal rain storm, they spill over. would this be a job that you would be do?
Also, do you make (or does anyone make) a screen that would be able to be installed under the shingle and then straight across the top of the box gutter (like a gutter guard) to keep the debris out of the box gutters?
Hi Martin! There are quite a few reasons why your gutters could be spilling over. One of them is that there is a low spot that keeps the water from reaching the downspout, another is that your downspout is actually clogged – this is one of the most common reasons. If you live in the Cincinnati area, we can help you with this repair, regardless of what the problem is. Feel free to give us a call at 513-322-2914. We can also help you with the installation of leaf guards that will protect your gutters from leaves and debris.
