One of the aspects of home repair reviews or testimonials typically found on company websites is that they are often universally positive. This practice directly contradicts the reality that no company or individual is perfect.
Ironically, most consumers (you are probably one of them, if you are reading this) know this and are likely to completely disregard the validity of these testimonials.
So what is a company to do that actually works hard to earn the trust, loyalty and satisfaction of its clients?
The answer, in one word: Transparency.
Transparency to us simply means, “If we can’t prove it, we’re not going to say it.” And most of the time, we’ll leave the bragging to third parties like our clients, rating services like Angie’s List, or trade authorities like Remodeling Magazine.
So when it comes to client testimonials and reviews, if they did not actually write the review (with their hand, pen and paper) then we don’t post it. We appreciate the feedback of every client, so these cards get posted on what we call the “Happy Client Wall” in our conference room. Given that we can’t post every card on this website, here is a snapshot of the wall:
